Jonathan Solomon
Founder & Principal Lawyer
Jonathan Solomon is the founder and principal lawyer at J. Solomon Law Professional Corporation. With considerable experience in litigation and extensive court exposure across various legal areas, he approaches legal advocacy with a focus on efficiency and resolution, often seeking to settle matters outside of the courtroom when feasible.
Jonathan also practices in estate law, finding great fulfillment in helping families establish comprehensive estate plans or assisting with guardianships. Additionally, through his corporate practice, he assists small businesses in maintaining up-to-date corporate documents, ensuring they maximize the benefits of their corporate structure.
Jonathan obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2011 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2013. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Concordia University (2006) and a Master of Science from McGill University (2008).
Beyond his legal practice, Jonathan actively engages in his community. He has served on the Board of Directors for both Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa and Pathways to Independence. Additionally, he contributes to the education of future legal professionals as a part-time professor in the Law Clerk and Paralegal Programs at Algonquin College.
Jonathan is an incredibly proud father of three amazing children and a devoted husband. He loves spending time outdoors, whether it is water skiing, winter skiing, canoeing, or any other adventure that gets him out in nature.
